· Annually treats thousands of sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals, including, among others, bobcats, eagles, and alligators.
· Is the only facility of its kind serving Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Palm Beach counties in Florida.
· Is renowned for its compelling and memorable public educational outreach performed at a variety of occasions to any and all ages.

A Look Back:
The center’s commitment to wildlife is unwavering, even after recently withstanding a great deal of adversity. Since 2004, the center has endured:
· A tornado
· Three hurricanes
· Constrained temporary headquarters in Palm City
· A drastic dip in fundraising due to an inability to accommodate the visiting public.
· Shortage of $50,000 in necessary expenditure goals

Nevertheless, the Wildlife Center still  treats 1,000 to 2,000 new wild animal patients each year.
