Wildlife Drop-off and Visiting Hours

Public Visitation :

We greatly regret the fact that we cannot receive unannounced visitors. The temporary nature of our present facility will not allow us to safeguard our animals, or protect our visitors from possible harm.

Please help us build the new facility as quickly as possible, so we can once again provide such opportunities.

Wildlife patients:

We are also unable to accept patients outside of business hours. Our gate is open for sick, injured, or orphaned wild patients 7 days a week from approximately 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM. We may occasionally close during other hours, for extraordinary circumstances.

Please keep patients warm, dark and quiet overnight. A cardboard box is excellent for most animals. Also, while you may offer (do NOT force) water, please do not feed the animal. Both of these are temporary situations. Phase One construction of the new Wildlife Center will include at least some limited wildlife displays. Additional displays, including animals in their native habitats, will be a unique feature of the new Wildlife Center. These will be opened to the public as soon as they are made ready.
